Faith and Questions: The Hard Conversations is a guided discussion space alternating between Seapointe College President, Dr. Sarah Hummel and Dean of Students, Dr. James Brockway for honest dialogue, thoughtful disagreement, and serious engagement with Scripture. Throughout the spring 2026 semester, the group will meet the First and Third Saturday of the month at 8pm, starting February 21.
Conversations are held virtually on the Seapointe College Discord channel and facilitated with care, respect, and awareness of how faith experiences—both healthy and unhealthy—shape us. Seapointe College students (including past and incoming students) are invited to bring their questions, doubts, positive and negative experiences, and convictions into respectful conversation, trusting that God meets us as we seek Him with humility, courage, and intellectual integrity.
This is not a space for easy answers, but for faithful inquiry, deep listening, and seeking truth.
If you do not yet have a Discord account invitation, please reach out to Dean Brockway directly at [email protected].
